What is a Publication?

NY LLC's require the publication of a notice of the formation of the LLC within 120 days of formation.

 

Why do they require?

Publications must be published in 2 different newspapers (one daily and one weekly published newspapers) within the county of the principal office and must run for 6 consecutive weeks.

After the notice is published for 6 weeks, both newspapers will send an affidavit of publication to INC which we will then submit the Certificate of Publication to the Department of State.
